To make your stay at our library as pleasant as possible, we offer you the opportunity to connect to our EDUROAM wireless network. This access will allow you to easily and securely connect to the internet not only within our premises but also in other locations where this network is available.
EDUROAM (Education Roaming) is an international wireless network that allows students, staff, and researchers to connect to the internet at academic and research institutions around the world. It is a convenient and secure way to access the internet wherever you are.
To connect to the EDUROAM network on our premises, follow these detailed steps depending on your device:
On iPhone:
Open Settings .
Select Wi-Fi and ensure it is turned on.
From the list of available networks, select EDUROAM .
You will be prompted to enter your username and password. Enter your username in the format [username]@domain and your password.
If prompted to trust the certificate, tap Trust . This step is important to ensure a secure connection.
Once connected successfully, you should have internet access. Verify that you have an active internet connection by opening a web browser.
On Windows 10:
Click Start and open Settings (gear icon).
Select Network & Internet and click Wi-Fi .
Click Manage known networks .
Click Add a new network .
Enter the following settings:
Network name (SSID): EDUROAMSecurity type: WPA2-EnterpriseEncryption type: AES
Under EAP method , select PEAP and under Authentication method , select MSCHAPv2 .
Enter your username in the format [username]@domain and your password.
Click Save and then Connect . If prompted to confirm the certificate, click Connect .
Verify the connection by opening a web browser and checking for internet access.
On Windows 11:
Click Start and open Settings (gear icon).
Select Network & Internet and click Wi-Fi .
Click Show available networks .
Select EDUROAM and click Connect .
Set the following:
Security type: WPA2-EnterpriseEAP method: PEAPAuthentication method: MSCHAPv2Username: [username]@domainPassword: [your password]
If prompted to confirm the certificate, click Connect or Trust .
Verify the connection by opening a web browser and checking for internet access.
