100 Years of Czech-Norwegian Diplomatic Relations

The panel exhibition documenting a century of mutual diplomatic relations. Do you know that the Czechoslovak Army used backpacks produced by the Norwegian company Bergans as early as 1923? That the Consulate General of Norway was once seated in the famous Prague house U Rotta? Or that more than one thousand Czechoslovak children spent their summer holidays in children camps near Oslofjord during the Cold War? These and many other surprising facts are presented at the display 100 Years of Czech-Norwegian Diplomatic Relations. The display consists of ten large posters featuring a summary of the greatest achievements, as well as several unfortunate events that happened during the 100-year bilateral relationship between the two countries that are close partners in today´s Europe.

Through the fatess of university professors and associate professors, often excellent Ukrainian scientists and intellectuals, the exhibition commemorates lights and shadows of the Ukrainin exile in the turbulent 1st half of the 20th century.
